There are many forms of editing that can be used to show continuity and is used in a way of effectively carrying a scene from one to another. Examples of editing are;
- Straight cut
- Continuity
- Fade up/down
- Dissolve
- Cross-cut
- Cut away
- Pacing (slow/fast)
- Slow motion
